- 1 (15-ounce) can black beans or pinto beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 cup salsa
- 1 (10-ounce) can diced tomatoes with green chiles, drained
- 3 cups crushed tortilla chips or 6 soft corn tortillas
- 2 cups shredded cheddar or Mexican blend
- Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato, sour cream, olives, jalapeños, cilantro
